Summer 2008 sees elephants roaming the streets of Norwich! These painted, life size sculptures of baby elephants are an initiative led by NNCB venue, The Forum and Wild in Art. This fun idea is designed to move art out of the gallery and into the community for all to enjoy.
Each has been decorated by a different artist and there are 50 dotted around the city. Visitors can pick up a Trail Map and do the elephant walk at several points including the Norwich Tourist Information Centre located in The Assembly House on Theatre Street Norwich. The event closes in August at which time the ellies will be spruced up and auctioned with proceeds split between 2 charities.
